TMP Philosophy
The guiding philosophy of TM Public Relations was and is the understanding that Perception Matters™.
That same school of thought translates to our work at Taft Matney Photography.
TMP is a separate business unit that sprung from a love of what we do. We consider ourselves fortunate to create public personas for people, agencies, organizations, and businesses throughout South Carolina.
Those personas are the results of strategic copywriting, media relations, graphic design, and public affairs. Working with clients to create branding components, we realized that an important internal component was missing here – photography.
After numerous client requests to bring photography in-house, we made a conscious decision to do exactly that.
About TMP
Taft Matney is a member of the International Freelance Photographers’ Organization and uses equipment that includes Nikon cameras.
High resolution Hewlett-Packard scanning and archival quality prints (with dimensions up to 13in. x 19in.) from our Epson print system are available in-house. For digital image files, TMP’s post-production services digitally enhance and color manage images prior to final photographic delivery. This includes regularly calibrating our monitors with a 7-filter emissive colorimeter that measures monitor colors for tonal accuracy.
Although other photographers are better suited for certain clients, a fact that we recognize and share with clients when circumstances dictate, our capability and skills allow us to provide professional photographic services ideal for personal use, collateral material, advertising, and publication.
Because of the nature of our business, we do not operate an in-house studio. Instead, all of our photography occurs on location to more accurately capture the subject.
Pricing
Because each client has different needs, we price each job and tailor it for a specific event.
Basic pricing requires a reservation of at least 2.5 hours and includes travel within a thirty mile radius of Greenville, South Carolina.
As we price individual job requests, some of the factors we consider are: Number and type of photographed subjects Location Publication Reproduction Archived Media
In the end, we understand that Perception Matters. Whether your pictures are published in a corporate brochure, inserted as an advertising design element, hanging in an office, or sent to Grandma on her birthday, we want to work with and for you to ensure you have the right images and photographer.
If we aren’t right for you, we’ll work with you to find someone who is. That’s our promise. |
